Project Overview
Bettr is a live sports tracking application built to help users log, monitor, and evaluate sports bets and fantasy outcomes in real time. The project aimed to centralize in-game information—scores, performances, and exposure—into a single, continuously updating view during live slates.
The app was designed to bridge the gap between fantasy tracking and sports betting by combining live scoring context with user-entered wagers. Bettr served as an exploratory step toward a broader vision of unified live sports monitoring, emphasizing clarity, immediacy, and usability during active games.
My Role
- Application Architecture & Development
Designed and built the core Flutter application, establishing the structure for real-time updates, bet tracking, and live performance monitoring.
- Manual Bet Tracking System
Implemented workflows allowing users to input and track their bets, monitor outcomes as games progressed, and evaluate results in real time.
- Live Scoring & Fantasy Context Integration
Integrated live scoring concepts similar to fantasy scoreboards, enabling users to see how in-game events impacted both wagers and fantasy-related outcomes.
- Exploratory Product Design
Used Bettr as a proving ground for ideas around unified fantasy and betting dashboards, informing future product direction and system design.
